Book Parade

Crazy Hat and Hair Day

Thursday was Crazy Hat and Hair Day! Everyone got to make and wear a silly hat or hair style for a special parade in the afternoon. There were certificates for the most creative hat or hair in each class. K-Darling chose a hat with a beautiful feather boa, and K-Swan chose one with a really cool bouncy hamburger!

Mrs Klose was on the microphone for the parade, but luckily had Ms Sarkadi (K-Darling’s new visiting teacher) in for her first school visit, so we put her to work as a photographer for K-Darling.

I think Miss Wilson took photos of K-Swan as well – can’t wait to see them!

Book Week Parade

Friday was our annual Book Week Parade, where everyone had the chance to come to school dressed as their favourite character from a book. Miss S. loved having the bright pink hair of Nymphadora Tonks, Auror and protector to Harry Potter.

Everyone was wearing very interesting costumes like Harry Potter,Mrs Twit, Willy Wonka, Bob the Builder (played by Mr H even though it’s a show not a book), Oompa Loompa, vampires, dementors, pirates, cowboys, wizards, witches, princesses, knights, and other amazing characters. One of our vampires won the class prize.
