Crazy Hat and Hair Day

Thursday was Crazy Hat and Hair Day! Everyone got to make and wear a silly hat or hair style for a special parade in the afternoon. There were certificates for the most creative hat or hair in each class. K-Darling chose a hat with a beautiful feather boa, and K-Swan chose one with a really cool bouncy hamburger!

Mrs Klose was on the microphone for the parade, but luckily had Ms Sarkadi (K-Darling’s new visiting teacher) in for her first school visit, so we put her to work as a photographer for K-Darling.

I think Miss Wilson took photos of K-Swan as well – can’t wait to see them!

World of Maths

On Tuesday, Mr Wilson (no relation to our Miss Wilson!) bought the ‘World Of Maths’ to our school. There were lots of fun hands-on learning activities to learn through Maths. Special thanks to the AMAZING parents who came in and helped take groups of children through the activities – we REALLY appreciated all your help!

The Easter Bunny Visit

Yesterday afternoon, we did Easter things. A Easter Bunny came. Mrs Klose saw a shadow of the bunny rabbit in the classroom. When we came inside, we saw white bunny footprints. The bunny brought chocolates. To get a chocolate we had to find the bean bags hidden in our classroom.

  • Maalik found one behind his chair.
  • Tahlia found one on Thomas’ chair.
  • Thomas found one in the corner.

  • Mary found one under the toy shelf.
